Types of Dental Imaging We Use
2D Digital Radiography
We routinely use digital periapical and panoramic X-rays. These produce clear, high-resolution images with significantly lower radiation exposure than traditional film (often up to 90% less). Images are available instantly, easy to store, and useful for patient communication.

3D Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT)
For more complex cases we use 3D CBCT. This technology creates a complete three-dimensional view of the teeth, jawbone, nerves, sinuses, and surrounding structures. It is particularly valuable for:
- Dental implant planning and precise placement
- Evaluating bone quality, quantity, and density
- Assessing impacted teeth and complex root anatomy
- Diagnosing TMJ disorders
- Planning bone grafting and other oral surgery procedures
- Detecting cysts, tumors, or infections in the jaw
