Single-visit CEREC Ceramic Crowns, Inlays, and Veneers

Smiles Peru uses the revolutionary CEREC CAD/CAM digital system for ceramic tooth restorations and veneers in a single visit. The process involves using an intraoral camera to take a digital impression of the tooth and surrounding teeth. The ideal restoration is then designed by computer software. Next, the milling unit (a 3-dimensional printer) carves (“prints”) the ceramic block to match the computer’s design.  This technology is especially valuable for dental tourists from the United States and Canada who want excellent results without multiple appointments or extended time away from home.

Some ceramics may require additional time in an oven to be brought to appropriate hardness, however, most single restorations with can be completed in a single visit. The ceramic chosen will depend upon the patient and the location of the restored tooth.

CAD/CAM crowns, inlays, and onlays are clinically proven, with studies demonstrating
a 10-year success rate above that of traditional restorations.

What is CEREC Digital Dentistry?

CEREC (Chairside Economical Restoration of Esthetic Ceramics) is a state-of-the-art CAD/CAM system that allows us to design, mill, and place permanent ceramic restorations in a single appointment.

Instead of traditional impressions and waiting weeks for a dental lab, we use an intraoral scanner to capture a precise digital impression of your teeth. Our computer software designs the restoration, and our in-house milling unit fabricates it from a solid block of high-quality ceramic while you wait.
