Smiles Peru’s On-Site Dental Laboratory
On-Site Dental Laboratory

The importance of an on-site Dental
Laboratory in Dentistry
Smiles Peru is committed to providing its patients the highest quality dental treatments using cutting-edge technology and efficient processes. To that end, we have incorporated a dental laboratory formed by a team of dental technicians specialized in the different areas of dental prostheses, empowered with the latest equipment. This allows us to maintain complete control over the quality, timing, and precision of every restoration we deliver — from single crowns to complex full-mouth rehabilitations.
When one travels for dental treatments, available time is limited to complete treatment. Using our internal dental laboratory, all processes are performed and completed here in our facility and are supervised directly by the treating specialist, improving communication. Furthermore, an internal laboratory enables us to make adjustments immediately. In this way, the patient can travel home feeling 100% at ease with his or her new teeth.
Why is an on-site Dental Laboratory important?
Many dental clinics send their laboratory work to external labs. While this can work, it often leads to longer waiting times, less control over quality, and limited ability to make changes during the treatment process.
By keeping our laboratory in-house, we can offer several important benefits:
- Faster delivery of crowns, bridges, veneers, and other restorations
- Higher quality control since our team oversees every step of the fabrication process
- Direct communication between the dentist and the laboratory technicians
- Same-day or next-day adjustments when necessary, reducing the number of visits
- Greater precision through close collaboration during the design and try-in stages
CEREC CAD / CAM Digital Dentistry
In addition to having a complete on-site dental laboratory, Smiles Peru has the CEREC CAD / CAM System for the design and manufacture of restorations assisted by a computer, which allows the development of dental restorations such as veneers, crowns, dental bridges and rehabilitation of single unit dental implants in one session. CEREC works with a 3D printer that designs and mills restorations with high aesthetics and precision, giving patients immediate results.
The combination of advanced digital technology and skilled in-house technicians gives us the flexibility to deliver excellent results efficiently — whether for single-tooth restorations or complex full-arch cases.

Better Experience for Our Patients
Having an in-house laboratory directly improves your treatment experience in several ways:
- Reduced waiting time between appointments
- Fewer visits required in many cases
- Higher consistency and quality in the final result
- Easier and faster modifications when needed
- Better coordination between the clinical and technical aspects of your treatment
This level of control and efficiency is especially valuable for patients undergoing more complex treatments, such as full mouth rehabilitation, hybrid prostheses, or multiple crowns and veneers.
Our Commitment to Quality
Because we are passionate about dentistry, Smiles Peru works with the best equipment and last generation materials, allowing us to position ourselves as a clinic at the forefront providing prosthetic dental treatments such as: integral restorations, implant prostheses and prostheses with CAD/CAM.
Every restoration that leaves our laboratory is carefully checked for fit, function, and aesthetics. Because the laboratory is located within our clinic, our dentists and technicians can work closely together throughout the entire process — from initial planning to final delivery. This close collaboration helps us achieve results that meet both our high clinical standards and your expectations.
