Smiles Peru Implant Guarantee
We offer a lifetime guarantee on the dental implants we place. This means that if an implant fails to integrate or is lost due to reasons within our control, we will replace it at no additional cost for the implant itself.
This guarantee applies as long as you:
- Maintain good oral hygiene
- Attend regular maintenance visits (at least once per year)
- Follow the post-treatment instructions provided by our team
Note: The lifetime guarantee covers the implant fixture only. It does not cover the prosthetic components (crowns, bridges, or hybrid prostheses) attached to the implant, which have separate guarantee periods and conditions.
Prosthesis Guarantee
We provide a 3-year guarantee on hybrid prostheses and a 10-year guarantee on zirconia prostheses against manufacturing defects or material failure under normal use.
This guarantee covers:
- Structural failure of the prosthesis framework
- Significant chipping or breakage not caused by trauma or misuse
What is not covered:
- Normal wear and tear
- Damage caused by accidents, trauma, or grinding/clenching (bruxism)
- Damage resulting from not following maintenance recommendations
- Changes in bite or jaw position over time
Restorative Treatments Guarantee
In addition to our implant and prosthesis guarantees, we also provide warranties on other restorative treatments performed at Smiles Peru.

Conditions to Maintain Your Guarantee
To keep your guarantee valid, you must:
- Maintain excellent oral hygiene at home
- Avoid habits that can damage your restorations (such as chewing ice, hard objects, or using teeth as tools)
- Inform us promptly if you experience any issues with your implants or prostheses
- Not smoke or use tobacco products excessively
Failure to follow these conditions may void the guarantee.
Frequently Asked Questions
1. Does the lifetime implant guarantee cover the crown or bridge on top? No. The lifetime guarantee applies only to the implant itself. The prosthetic work (crowns, bridges, or hybrid prostheses) has its own separate warranty period.
2. What happens if my implant fails after many years? As long as you have followed the maintenance requirements, we will replace the failed implant at no cost for the implant fixture.
3. Can I transfer my guarantee to another clinic? Our guarantee is valid only when you continue your maintenance care with Smiles Peru.
4. Does grinding my teeth void the guarantee? If you have bruxism and do not wear a night guard as recommended, damage caused by grinding may not be covered.
5. How often do I need to come in for maintenance? We recommend professional cleanings and check-ups every 6 months to maintain both your oral health and your treatment guarantee.
