Michelle reviews her porcelain veneers and anterior implant crowns at Smiles Peru
A Cosmetic Dentistry Journey
This case involved a combination of porcelain veneers and crowns placed on Bicon dental implants in the anterior region. The goal was to restore both the appearance and the function of the front teeth in a way that looked natural and felt secure.
The starting point
The patient came to us with concerns about the appearance and stability of several front teeth. Some teeth needed replacement, while others required a more conservative cosmetic approach. After clinical examination and imaging, we planned a combined restorative solution:
- Bicon dental implants to replace missing or non-restorable anterior teeth
- Custom crowns on those implants
- Porcelain veneers on the adjacent natural teeth to create a harmonious, even smile
Planning and treatment
As with most combined implant and cosmetic cases, the sequence mattered. The implants needed time to integrate before the final crowns could be placed. During this period we carefully coordinated the shade, shape, and proportions of both the implant crowns and the veneers so the final result would look consistent across the smile.
Digital planning and clinical photography helped us refine the design before the final restorations were made.
The result
The finished case restored a natural-looking anterior smile. The implant-supported crowns provided solid function where teeth had been missing or compromised, while the veneers refined the shape, color, and alignment of the remaining teeth.
Patients in similar situations often comment that the combination feels more secure than their previous teeth and that the aesthetic result looks like their own smile — just healthier and more even.
Why this approach works
Not every cosmetic case needs only veneers, and not every implant case is purely functional. When front teeth are involved, the best results usually come from treating the smile as a whole — replacing what cannot be saved and refining what can.
Using Bicon implants in the anterior zone, followed by carefully matched crowns and veneers, allowed us to address both the structural and aesthetic sides of the problem in one coordinated plan.
